Richard Maddams

Richard Maddams has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Richard is currently serving as the Head of PMO and Business Transformation at Droit, a financial technology firm specializing in software and advisory services for derivative regulatory compliance. Prior to that, they worked as a Management Consultant at Chaucer from 2020 to 2022. Richard also served as the Director of the Boston Office at Satori Consulting from 2015 to 2020, where they managed programs and complex projects, refined business strategies, and optimized processes, organizations, and technology. From 2011 to 2015, they were the Managing Director at Business Strategy Partners Ltd, where they worked as a Business Transformation Architect and Adviser to Start-ups. Richard was also responsible for generating an IT Roadmap and Business Requirement Definition for multiple clients. Earlier in their career, they held various positions such as the Head of Technology and Business Process Improvement at OneSavings Bank Plc, Director of Technology and Operations at Ivobank Ltd, and Divisional Director at Logica Plc. Richard also worked as the Head of Consulting, Hong Kong at AT&T Solutions and as a Managing Consultant at PA Consulting Group. Richard Maddams founded Business Strategy Partners Ltd in 2002 and held several leadership positions in technology start-ups and offshore outsourcing companies. Overall, Richard has extensive experience in technology, business transformation, project management, and strategic consulting.

Richard Maddams attended St Clement Danes Grammar School from 1974 to 1980, where they focused on Maths and Science. Following this, they pursued their higher education at the University of Cambridge from 1980 to 1984. During their time at Cambridge, Richard obtained a MA degree in Chemical Engineering.
