Joseph Mente

Joseph Mente has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joseph is currently working at DroneDeploy as the Snr Director of DevOps & IT Operations, where they have implemented cost-saving initiatives, obtained ISO27001 & SOC2 certifications, and leads infrastructure and security design reviews. Prior to this role, they were the Director of DevOps and IT Operations, responsible for technical leadership and writing code, as well as managing a team. Joseph also worked as a Team Lead at DroneDeploy. Joseph has also worked as a Guest Lecturer at Hackbright Academy, teaching Linux and DevOps to graduating classes. Joseph founded their own interactive entertainment company, Duadikos, LLC, and has worked as a Lead DevOps Engineer at Bunchball. In addition, Joseph has held positions at Wayfair, Global Foundries, Kiva Systems Inc., Composite Modules, GE Aviation, and Philips Semiconductors.

Joseph Mente attended Northeastern University from 2004 to 2009, where they pursued a double major in Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in both fields. Joseph then went on to receive a Master of Engineering degree in Systems Engineering from Cornell University in 2010.
