Richard Stinear

Richard Stinear has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Richard is currently the Head of Engineering - Ground Robotics at DroneDeploy since July 2021. Prior to this, they co-founded Rocos - Robot Operations Platform in 2017 and served as the CTO until August 2021. In 2014, Richard was the Head of Engineering at Plexure (formerly VMob Ltd) where they were responsible for overall platform delivery and pre-sales consultancy. Richard also held various roles at Endava from 2008 to 2014, including Group Head of Development, Lead Architect, and UK Head of Development. Earlier in their career, Richard worked as a Solution Architect at Jupiter Asset Management from 2006 to 2008 and at New Star Asset Management from 2005 to 2006. Richard began their career as a Senior Developer/Solution Architect at Designer Technology Ltd in 2004 and later became a Program Manager at Rex Ltd from 2001 to 2003.

Richard Stinear attended the University of Otago from 1995 to 1996, where they received a LLB and BCom (Finance) degree, specializing in Diploma in Business with IT specialization. In 2010, they obtained the certification of IASA Certified IT Architect - Professional, from the institution IASA.
