João Ruivo

João Ruivo has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. João'smost recent position is as a UX/UI Designer at Drooms, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Devoteam from 2019 to 2022, where they held the role of Audiovisual and Multimedia Specialist. João also worked as a Branding and Audiovisual Trainee at Devoteam from 2019 to 2020.

Before their time at Devoteam, João had an internship as a Graphic Designer at DDB Prague from September 2018 to December 2018. In 2018, they also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at MIL Lisbon Music Festival from February to March.

In 2017, João worked as a Freelance Motion Designer at Terra Design from September to December. Prior to that, they had a role at Social Animals from July 2016 to January 2017, where they worked in Audiovisual, Graphic Design, and Motion Design.

João Ruivo has a Licentiate degree in Audiovisual e Multimedia from Escola Superior de Comunicação Social, which they obtained between 2013 and 2016. In 2017, they completed an Annual Course in Design Gráfico at ETIC. Additionally in the same year, they also completed a Motion Graphics Course at MoGraph Mentor and an Intensive Course in Cinema 4D at Restart - Instituto de Criatividade Artes e Novas Tecnologias. In 2020, João attended a workshop on Serigraphy at FICA Oficina Criativa. Most recently, in 2022, they pursued a degree in User Experience & User Interface Design at EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education. João also holds a certification in Logo Design: From Concept to Presentation, which they obtained from Domestika in November 2020.
