Ameya Bhatawdekar

Ameya Bhatawdekar is a seasoned professional in machine learning and product management, currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning at Dropbox since June 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Machine Learning Scientist Manager at Microsoft from 2020 to June 2023, and Product Lead at Facebook AI from 2018 to 2020, where Ameya focused on AI applied research to enhance content integrity. Ameya has contributed extensively to Microsoft over an 18-year tenure in various capacities, including leading projects that utilized machine learning to enhance Microsoft Office products and safety features. Prior to Microsoft, Ameya founded ThreeSixtyDegrees and served as a Senior Systems Analyst at Infosys Technologies Ltd. Ameya holds an MBA from UW Foster School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering from Gujarat University.
