Hugo Sinha

Hugo Sinha has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Hugo began their career in 2013 as a Medical Imagery Analyst and IT specialist at Quantificare. In 2015, they interned at UCLA Health, specifically at the UCLA Mental Retardation Research Center. Hugo then volunteered at the Centre universitaire de santé McGill (CUSM) | McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) in 2013-2014. In 2016-2018, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Centre for Applied Synthetic Biology, where they focused on developing an automated gene-editing platform for cancer pathway deciphering and other genome editing applications. Finally, in 2018-2021, Hugo co-founded and served as the CEO of DropGenie, and is currently working as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company.

Hugo Sinha pursued their education at Concordia University. From 2012 to 2016, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology. Subsequently, from 2016 to 2018, Hugo earned their Master's of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Concordia University.
