Henrique Freitas has held a variety of roles in the engineering and education fields since 2016. Henrique began their career as a Program Director/Counselor at the YMCA of Greater Hartford in 2016. In 2019, they took on the role of Engineering Tutor at the Northeastern First Year Engineering Learning and Innovation Center. In 2020, they were a Systems Engineering Co-op at Instrumentation Laboratory, A Werfen Company, as well as a R&D Mechanical Engineer Co-op, Manufacturing Engineer Co-op, and Assembly Technician at Droplette. In 2023, they became a Mechanical Engineer I at Droplette.
Henrique Freitas is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, which they expect to complete in 2022. In addition, they hold a CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross, obtained in June 2019, and an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate with additional specialties, obtained in July 2018.
