Adrian Loke has extensive experience in the IT industry, having worked in various roles since 2002. Adrian began their career as a System Administrator at the Naval Underwater Warfare Centre, where they installed and configured Unix and Windows 2000 servers, Windows XP and Linux workstations, Switches, Firewalls, Servers and database. Adrian also provided technical assistance to 30 staffs, assisting with network access, printing, and application software operation, desktop support. In 2007, they worked as a System Consultant at NCS Group, where they administered HP-UX servers (PA-RISC and Itanium, Mission critical), Windows Servers (Proliants and Blades) and VMware servers (Proliants and Blades). Adrian also worked as a System Administrator (Contract) at HSBC Private Bank, where they were responsible for major tech refresh for all trading servers (AIX), installing, configuring and administering database (MS SQL 2005, MySQL) and performing monthly system re-org and weekly patch update to Front Office System and Statement systems. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Systems Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where they administered Manufacturing Servers, HP-UX servers (PA-RISC and Itanium), Redhat Enterprise Edition and Windows, and was responsible for ensuring 24/7 uptime for all factory servers and Backup administration of Veritas Netbackup for Netapps Filer. Adrian then worked at NetApp from 2010 to 2013, where they were a Professional Service Engineer. In 2013, they joined EY as APAC Team Lead (Storage), where they managed the APAC storage team, proposed and managed yearly budgets for the team expenses, provided business and technical leadership and decision making for all technical projects and purchases, set and defined goals for the team and worked individually with all members to meet the goals, and reviewed and updated SOPs for Global storage team. Since 2016, they have been at Dropsuite, where they have held the roles of Director Of Infrastructure/Data Protection Officer and Director of Product.
Adrian Loke attended Singapore Polytechnic from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
