Kunto Aji K has a long and varied work experience. Kunto Aji began their career in 2008 as an Internship Web Developer at PT Excelcomindo Pratama. In 2009, they moved to PT Bukalapak.com as a Web Developer, where they built bukalapak.com using Ruby on Rails and MySQL, and masuknegeri.com using Ruby on Rails and MongoDB. Kunto Aji also developed internal web applications and created automation tests using Rspec and Cucumber. In 2011, Kunto Aji K was a Software Architect at Pamapersada Nusantara. In 2012, they became a Business Owner at lantakanemas.com. In 2013, they were a Senior Web Developer at Kubikon Software Agency, where they were a full-stack software engineer with expertise in front-end and back-end development. In 2014, Kunto Aji K moved to PT. Kreatif Media Karya as a Senior Frontend Engineer and Software Engineer. Kunto Aji developed liputan6.com using PHP Laravel, worked as a full-stack engineer to develop karir.com using Ruby on Rails, React JS, and HTML/CSS, and contributed to the KMK Labs blog. In 2017, Kunto Aji K was a Software Engineering Team Lead and Software Engineer at BBM. In 2018, they were a Principal Software Engineer and Software Engineering Team Lead at Sleekr - #1 HR & Accounting Software. In 2019, they were a Tech Lead at Tiket.com (PT. Global Tiket Network). Finally, in 2022, Kunto Aji K is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Dropsuite. At Dropsuite, some of their notable accomplishments include refactoring existing projects in preparation for a search engine migration, researching and resolving compatibility issues with M1 Macs, implementing new features using AWS Lambda and C# to improve the performance of their backup feature on large sites, conducting research on Docker and creating documentation on how to set up their existing project on M1 Macs without updating newer libraries, benchmarking the performance of Golang vs Python in relation to AWS S3, researching and implementing a new Microsoft chat backup, creating a Sharepoint backup filter, and developing a monthly API call usage report for the back-end only.

Kunto Aji K attended SMA 70 from 2003 to 2005. Kunto Aji then went on to receive a Bachelor in Informatic Engineering from Institut Teknologi Telkom from 2005 to 2009. Kunto Aji also holds an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in December 2022.
