Kassandra Frederique is an experienced leader in drug policy reform and social work, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Drug Policy Alliance since July 2010. Throughout their tenure, Kassandra has held various leadership roles, including Managing Director and New York State Director, advocating for a vision where individuals are not penalized for personal choices but for harm done to others. Previously, Kassandra worked as a Graduate Hall Director at Columbia University, overseeing residential community needs, and served as a Women's Counselor at Sanctuary for Families, focusing on support for domestic violence and sex trafficking victims. Kassandra began their career as a Social Worker at Hunts Point Middle School 424. Kassandra holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Labor Relations from Cornell University.
