Kaushik Balasubramanian

Kaushik Balasubramanian is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in cloud technology and software development. Since 2020, Kaushik has served as Vice President of Engineering at Druva, where responsibilities include overseeing Data Resiliency for both public and private cloud workloads. In addition to this role, Kaushik has been an angel investor and advisor for various companies since 2019. Prior to Druva, Kaushik held the position of Senior Director of Private Clouds at Rackspace from 2013 to 2018, directing product strategy and delivery and managing multiple global teams. Kaushik's expertise in engineering was further honed at VMware as Senior Manager in R&D for the NSX team, focusing on software-defined networking innovations. Early career experience includes roles at Avaya Research and Tata Technologies as a software engineer. Kaushik holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
