Morten Aarup

Morten Aarup has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Morten began their career as a Summer Intern at Chase Manhattan Bank in 2000. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as an Economic Analyst at Ugebrevet Mandag Morgen. In 2001, they joined Maersk Oil as a Financial Planning Analyst and later became an Analyst in Gas Sales. Morten then transitioned to the role of Senior Analyst, APMM Group Strategy and eventually became a Senior Analyst in Business Development & Strategy. In 2008, Aarup joined Maersk Tankers as the Head of Asset Management and later became the Director of Strategy & M&A. Since 2013, they have worked at DS NORDEN, initially as the Head of Investor Relations and Market Analysis and currently as the Head of Market Research, Asset Management. Morten'sexperience spans across market research, investor relations, market analysis, strategy, M&A, business development, and financial planning.

Morten Aarup completed their education at the Copenhagen Business School. From 1996 to 1999, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Applied Economics and Finance from 1999 to 2001.
