Ricardo Marçal

Ricardo Marçal is an experienced design and product development professional with a robust background in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Design & Product Development Manager for the Iberia Cluster at DS Smith since April 2013, Ricardo previously held the position of Design Team Manager at Europac Group. Prior experience includes serving as the New Product Development Manager and Industrial Designer at TEMAHOME, as well as a Product Designer at Jasmim Glass Studio. Academically, Ricardo has specialized in Strategy at Harvard Business School and has mastered Design Thinking at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, an Executive Programme in Project Management was completed at Porto Business School, complemented by a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and a Licentiate degree in Product Design & Engineering from Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo.
