Elaine Nelson

Elaine Nelson, CPA has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Elaine started their career as a General Manager at Einstein Brothers Bagels, where they oversaw restaurant and commissary operations. Elaine then worked as a Senior Accountant at C-Tech Biomedical for six years before becoming the Treasurer at Children's Place Nursery School. Following that, Elaine served as an Assurance Supervisor at McGladrey, specializing in not-for-profit and healthcare sectors. Elaine then joined PwC as an Assurance Manager, where they managed a team that provided a wide range of advisory services to various businesses. Elaine later joined UnitedHealth Group as an Associate Director of Corporate Accounting. Currently, they are the Chief Operations Officer at DSB Rock Island, where they also served as the Principal and Director. Elaine has significant expertise in accounting, tax, and advisory services, and they have a strong commitment to helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Elaine Nelson, CPA, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Winona State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended the University of Minnesota from 1995 to 1996, and St. Olaf College from 1994 to 1995, where they focused on German and French studies.
