Emma Bertran

Emma Bertran has over 30 years of professional experience, starting in 1990 as an Assistant Marketing Consultant at Quod Design & Marketing. Emma later worked as a Marketing Strategy Consultant at the same company and also had a role as an Account Manager at Givaudan. In 1998, they joined SARA LEE as a Key Account Manager and later became the Key Accounts Head. In 2002, they joined Firmenich as the HC Category Manager and held various roles within the company, including Regional Director, VP of Fine Fragrance, and VP of Human Resources. Currently, they are working as the VP of Human Resources Global Finance at DSM-Firmenich.

Emma Bertran has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Esade, which they obtained from 1987 to 1992. In 2018, they attended the London Business School for a course in HR strategy in Transforming Organisations. From 2021 to 2022, they completed a program in Digital Business Strategy: Harnessing our digital future at MIT Sloan Executive Education. In 2023, they also attended MIT Sloan Executive Education for a course in Leading Organizations & Change.
