Mauricio Adade has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Mauricio is currently the President of Latin America & Malnutrition Partnerships at DSM-Firmenich, where they oversee operations in Latin America and leads partnerships focused on addressing malnutrition. Prior to this, they served as the President of Africa at DSM, where they held a key leadership position for a limited duration. Adade also served as the President of Latin America and later as the President of Global Malnutrition Programs & Partnerships. Mauricio has a strong background in marketing and was the Chief Marketing Officer at DSM. Additionally, Adade has held executive positions at organizations such as Java Foods and Sight and Life. Mauricio has also been actively involved in various advisory boards and associations, including the Brazilian Bioinnovation Association, Dutcham - Dutch Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, African Improved Foods, and more.
Mauricio Adade's education history includes an Executive Education from IMD in 2006 and Business Education from INSEAD in 2001. In 1992, they completed a program in Finance and Accounting for the Nonfinancial Executive at Columbia Business School. Mauricio obtained an MBA in Marketing from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing in 1988. Mauricio Adade also earned a Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas between 1981 and 1985. Additionally, they furthered their education in Business Management through an Executive Education program at London Business School in 1999. In 2020, they completed the Programa de Desenvolvimento de Conselheiros – PDC, specializing in Board Member training at Fundação Dom Cabral.
