Étienne Demeules, CPA, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Étienne began their career in 2014 as a Marchandiseur & Représentant for Brasseurs du Nord-Bière Boréale. In 2016, they joined EY, where they held various positions including Campus Recruiter, Junior Staff Accountant, Intermediate Staff/Accountant, Senior Accountant Audit, and ultimately Senior Analyst - Strategy & Transactions. In January 2021, Étienne transitioned to DSMA - Valuations, Mergers & Acquisitions as Deal Advisory & Valuation. There, they utilized their bilingual bachelor's degree from HEC Montréal in business administration, specialized graduate degree in public accounting, and CPA designation (CPA auditor) to excel in their role. In April 2022, they were promoted to the role of Director of Finance and M&A - Partner. Throughout their career, Étienne has also demonstrated their commitment to further professional development by pursuing a CFA Level II certification. Étienne is fluent in both French and English.

In 2016, they also pursued a brief study abroad program at EM Strasbourg Business School, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business and administration with a focus on Management.

Prior to their time at HEC Montréal, Étienne attended Cégep St-Hyacinthe from 2012 to 2014, where they studied Sciences Humaines Administration. Before that, they completed their secondary education at Séminaire Sainte-Trinité, graduating with a DES diploma in 2012.

Furthermore, Étienne pursued specialized education in accounting. From 2017 to 2018, they attended HEC Montréal and obtained a D.E.S.S. in Comptabilité Professionnelle, focusing on Comptabilité. In addition to their formal education, Étienne has also earned certifications from the Ordre des CPA du Québec as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in October 2020 and obtained the CFA Level I certification from the CFA Institute in December 2016. Étienne also holds a current candidacy for the CFA Level 2 from the CFA Institute, demonstrating their commitment to finance and financial management.
