William Carter

William Carter is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Senior Manager of School Culture at DSST Public Schools since June 2022. Prior to this role, William held various positions including Principal Fellow and Assistant Principal of Instruction at STRIVE Prep, and Associate Dean of Scholar and Family Experience at Achievement First, where responsibilities included managing enrollment, stakeholder relationships, and school culture expectations. William also served as Associate Executive Director at Democracy Prep Public Schools, focusing on scholar support and behavior modification, and as Dean of Operations at Noble Network of Charter Schools, where organizational systems and campus safety were prioritized. William's career in education began as a CaSSA Coordinator at Ignite, assisting youth in transitioning to independent living. William holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Social Work from Bowling Green State University.
