Andrey Cheptsov

Andrey Cheptsov is the Founder and CEO of dstack, which focuses on rethinking container orchestration for AI workloads in both cloud and on-premises environments by developing an open-source alternative to Kubernetes. Prior experience includes a decade at JetBrains, where Andrey served as Product Manager for data science developer tools like PyCharm and DataSpell, as well as Product Marketing Manager for flagship IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA and DataGrip. Earlier in the career, Andrey held the position of Lead Software Engineer at Devexperts, leading the development of a trading platform core. Andrey's educational background includes an Executive MBA from both the Technical University of Munich and the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Saratov State Technical University.
