Alberto Pipio

Alberto Pipio has a strong background in various roles within the technology industry. Alberto currently works as a Lead Solution Architect at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics. Prior to this, they served as a Tools Architect at Bose Corporation, where they were responsible for the governance of Scaled Agile framework supporting tools and served as an SME for Jira Align, Jira, and Confluence. Before that, they worked as a Software/Project Development Facilitator at FreeBalance, where they managed GRP development teams and defined workflow procedures. Alberto also has experience as a Director/Senior Manager at Audaxys, where they managed a financial ERP development team and served as a BPR consultant. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Consultant and Auditor on various projects, including university Portal Implementation, SAP implementation, and content management site implementation. Alberto also served as a Division Manager at ParaRede/Datec, where they managed an application server development team and led the development of the first Portuguese full-featured e-banking site. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Eurociber, focusing on core bank and bank management software development. Finally, Alberto began their career as a Programmer at OGMA-Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal, SA.

Alberto Pipio obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa from 1987 to 1990. Later, in 2003 to 2004, they pursued another Master's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Aberta.
