Context of the role

DT One is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our Strategy and Operations team and support the EMEA Pricing Manager and Europe sales teams to respond to customer needs, accelerate deal closings and help optimize deal profitability, ensuring pricing strategies align with business objectives.

The Role / Job 

You will report to the EMEA Pricing Manager. On a daily basis, you will work closely with the sales teams on specific deals and review pricing proposal requests in order to ensure we optimize margins.

You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders from Product, Finance, and Network teams.

  • Review and approve pricing requests, ensuring they align with company guidelines.
  • Manage customer pricing.
  • Conduct analysis to support pricing decisions to ensure alignment with company pricing guidelines.
  • Work actively with the sales teams to provide support and guidance on pricing.
  • As needed, escalate and present pricing proposals to Pricing Manager.
  • Assist the Pricing Manager with pricing reports and prepare the necessary information.
  • Regularly review existing pricing configurations to identify areas where we can optimize margin.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and adjust as necessary based on cost changes.
  • Contribute to the development of pricing tools & processes to improve efficiency and business performance visibility

Knowledge Required 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • + 2 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, business analyst or a similar field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Understanding of pricing strategies and market dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with data analysis software, preferably Tableau, is a plus.
  • Experience with sales CRM software, preferably ZOHO or Salesforce, is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Very good English language skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in pricing analysis.
