JoAnn Chavez

JoAnn Chávez is an accomplished legal and tax professional with extensive experience at DTE Energy, where positions held since January 2007 include Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Tax Officer, Vice President, Legal and Chief Tax Officer, and Vice President and Chief Tax Officer. Prior to DTE Energy, JoAnn Chávez gained valuable experience at KPMG from January 1994 to 2004, serving as Partner and Senior Tax Manager. JoAnn Chávez holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Notre Dame Law School and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, earned between 1982 and 1986.
