Lawrence Chong

Lawrence Chong has an extensive work experience in the insurance industry, starting in 2003 with Chubb as a Senior Financial Lines Underwriter. Lawrence then worked at AIG as a Financial Lines Manager, followed by RSA as the Senior Manager and Head of Financial & Professional Risk Practice. Lawrence later joined Swiss Re as a Vice President before founding Skala FinTech in 2017. Lawrence currently serves as the Chief Underwriting Officer at DUAL Group, specifically in the Dual Alpha Underwriting division. Additionally, Lawrence had a brief stint at OneDegree as the Chief Underwriting Officer for their OneInfinity division from 2022 to 2023.

Lawrence Chong has a diverse education history, with a focus on technology and business studies. Lawrence holds a Master of Science (Engineering) degree in Electronic Commerce & Internet Computing from The University of Hong Kong.
