Ronan Carroll

Ronan Carroll is an experienced maritime professional with a diverse background in piloting and marine operations. Currently serving as a Pilot at Dublin Port Company since February 2016, Ronan previously held the position of Trainee Pilot at the Port of London Authority and worked as Deputy Harbour Master and Pilot at Associated British Ports. In this role, management of the Marine Control/Local Port Service function and staff was a key responsibility. Ronan's earlier experience includes serving as a Radio Officer for the Irish Coast Guard, where coordination of search and rescue operations was crucial, and holding multiple officer roles with Princess Cruises and Windstar Cruises, focusing on bridge management and safety oversight. Ronan holds a Master FNG degree from the National Maritime College of Ireland and a Diploma in Nautical Science from Munster Technological University.
