Aoife Gillespie

Aoife Gillespie is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as a Legal Policy Officer at the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre since July 2023. Previously, Aoife worked as a Public Law and Immigration Consultant at Philip Lee from December 2015 to November 2021, focusing on public administrative law, regulatory law, and constitutional law. Aoife also served as a Guest Lecturer at The Honorable Society of King's Inns and practiced as a Barrister at Law at the Bar Council of Ireland from July 2009 to December 2015, specializing in judicial review, administrative law, and various aspects of immigration and asylum law. Additionally, Aoife contributed as a consultant for Public Affairs Ireland and directed the European Database of Asylum Law. Aoife holds a Barrister at Law Degree from The Honorable Society of King's Inns, a Master of Laws in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex, and a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Galway.
