Karl Dimla

Karl Dimla's work experience begins in 2012 with an internship at Bank of the Philippine Islands, where they gained exposure to banking and finance. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as an Android Developer at Voyager Innovations Inc., contributing to the development of cutting-edge applications. In 2015, Karl co-founded Saffron Technologies, a startup recognized as one of the top 24 in the Ideaspace Startup Competition. 🌻 Karl served as Founder until 2017. Karl then joined Spotify in 2016 and held multiple roles, including Engineer I, Engineer II, and Senior Android Engineer, until December 2021. Currently, Karl is employed as a Senior Software Engineer at DuckDuckGo, starting in 2022.

Karl Dimla's education history begins with their enrollment at Mater Carmeli School from 1999 to 2009, where they completed their secondary education. Following this, they attended the University of the Philippines from 2009 to 2013, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a focus on the Computer Security Group. In 2015, Karl participated in the Entrepreneurship Development Program at the Asian Institute of Management.

Additionally, Karl obtained certifications in Java Algorithms and Java and Android from TestDome in February 2016.
