Thomas Storey has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Thomas is currently working as a Senior Backend Engineer at DuckDuckGo since November 2021. Prior to this, Thomas was the Director of Engineering at Feathr from November 2018 to November 2021, where they led a team of engineers to design and implement a SaaS web application for marketing solutions. Thomas also worked as a Software Engineer at Feathr from June 2016 to November 2018, where they designed and implemented features for a SaaS web application in the ad-tech/event-tech space. Thomas has also worked as a Web Developer on a freelance basis from January 2014 to June 2016. Before that, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida from August 2013 to May 2016. Additionally, Thomas worked as a Game Designer/C# Developer on a freelance basis for a few months in 2013. Thomas started their career as an Illustrator at The Battalion from September 2012 to May 2013, where they developed illustrations for articles and produced editorial cartoons in collaboration with the editor.

Thomas Storey completed their education with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Art + Technology from the University of Florida in the years 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Visualization Science from Texas A&M University, attending from 2010 to 2013.
