Tom Strba

Tom Strba has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering roles. Tom has worked at DuckDuckGo as a Senior macOS Engineer and subsequently as a macOS Browser DRI. Prior to that, they worked at ESET as a macOS Software Engineer and later took on the role of Scrum Master, where they also contributed as a macOS Software Engineer. Earlier in their career, Tom worked as an iOS Software Developer at madeo interactive s.r.o., where they were responsible for developing iOS products using Swift programming language. Tom also maintained existing applications in Objective-C, which gained a significant user base worldwide. Before that, they worked briefly as a Software Developer at Apprise Software and as a Technical Tester at Pantheon Technologies.

Tom Strba completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Brno University of Technology from 2011 to 2014. Tom then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master's Degree in Intelligent Systems from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their academic qualifications, Tom has also obtained several certifications. In April 2015, they received a certification in "Building Mobile Experiences" from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In May 2013, Tom achieved a "Certificate in Communication Skills," although the institution from which this certification was obtained is unspecified. Most recently, in February 2019, they completed the "Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)" certification from Scrum Alliance.
