Luke Opperman

Luke Opperman is a skilled civil engineer with extensive experience in various roles within engineering and water resource management. Currently serving as Regional Engineer at Ducks Unlimited since January 2022, Luke focuses on wetland and wildlife habitat enhancement projects. Prior to this role, Luke worked as an Associate Civil Engineer for the City of Reno from November 2018 to 2022, managing neighborhood street rehabilitation and overseeing special assessment districts. Luke also held positions as a Project Coordinator with the State of Nevada and Water Resource Specialist with the Division of Water Resources, contributing to FEMA flood mapping and engineering studies. Luke earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Hydrology and Water Resources Science from the University of Nevada, Reno, from 2002 to 2009.
