P.eng. Craig Munch

Craig Munch, P.Eng. has extensive work experience in the field of sustainability, energy analytics, and engineering. Craig is currently the Director of Sustainability and Energy Analytics at Brightly, where they lead a team of consultants and experts in delivering market-leading services focused on leveraging data from commercial real estate properties and portfolios to drive carbon, energy, and cost savings.

Prior to their current role, Craig worked at Energy Profiles Limited, where they held various positions, including Project Director and Service Lead for Energy Audits. Craig was responsible for managing sustainability data and driving down energy and water use intensity, as well as GHG emissions, in property portfolios across North America. Craig also worked as a Senior Energy Analyst and Service Lead, as well as an Energy Analyst and Project Lead, carrying out energy audits, providing utility use and cost allocations, and designing submetering and utility metering systems.

Before joining Energy Profiles Limited, Craig gained experience as an Energy Analyst at the University of Waterloo, where they managed the Formula Motorsports Team. Craig also worked as an Energy Analyst at Energy Profiles Limited, carrying out energy analysis and data management duties.

Craig's early career experiences include roles as a Mechanical Engineering Student in various companies, including Decoma, Canadian Coast Guard, RJ Burnside & Associates, The Woodbridge Group, and GSW Water Heating Company. These roles involved process design, ship design and specification, HVAC systems design, project management, and industrial process design.
