Louise Jones has extensive experience in the education sector, holding various leadership roles throughout their career. Louise is currently a member of the Board of Trustees at Black Country Living Museum and a Board Trustee at Academy Transformation Trust. Previously, they served as the Chief Finance Officer at Dudley College and held the position of Deputy Principal at BMet College and Stourbridge College of FE. Louise also has experience as a Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Birmingham Metropolitan College.
Louise Jones has a diverse education history. In 1980, they attended Sutton Coldfield Girls Grammar Schools and obtained A levels in British Government & Politics. Subsequently, from 1991 to 1994, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd. In 1995, they enrolled at the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales for an unspecified degree and field of study, completing their education there in 1998. Later on, from 2013 to 2015, they attended the University of Wolverhampton to pursue a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Post Compulsory Education. Finally, in 2018, they participated in the Further Education Preparing for CEO Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, focusing on Leadership.
