Dr. Firas M. Mustafa Alfaqi

Dr. Firas M. Mustafa AlFaqi is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in engineering and education. Currently serving as Chairman of the Committee for Establishing the Entrepreneurship Center and Assistant Professor at Duhok Polytechnic University since August 2013, Dr. AlFaqi also plays a pivotal role as a member of the OPATEL team, focused on enhancing online academic teaching and learning in Iraq and Iran. In addition to various leadership roles in petrochemical and IT departments, Dr. AlFaqi serves as Director of the Scientific Research Unit at the Technical College of Engineering within DPU. Earlier positions include Chairman of the Computer and Communication Engineering Department at Nawroz University and various teaching roles at multiple universities. Dr. AlFaqi holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Mosul.
