Christine McMillan

Christine McMillan, MBA, CRA has a diverse work experience in financial management and analysis. Christine has worked at the Duke Clinical Research Institute since 2002, with their most recent role being Director of Financial Reporting. In this position, they oversee the financial management of operational activities and leads the financial reporting initiative. Prior to this, Christine served as an Assistant Controller, where they provided high-quality financial information to DCRI leadership and identified areas of concern in monthly financials. Christine also has experience as a Senior Financial Management Analyst, supporting global DCRI needs and managing requests for audit data and project budgets. Before joining DCRI, Christine worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Harris Corporation, where they managed financial aspects of government contracts including contract setup, billing, and rate variance calculations.

Christine McMillan, MBA, CRA completed their education at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business, where they earned an MBA in Finance from 1998 to 2001. Previous to that, they attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a BA in Psychology. In addition to their degrees, they also hold the certification of Certified Research Administrator from the Research Administrators Certification Counsel, which they obtained in December 2009.
