Raquel B. Pugh

Raquel B. Pugh, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Raquel began their career as a Project Sales Analyst at Waste Management from 2012 to 2015, where they conducted pre-sales activities and successfully closed sales. Raquel then moved on to American Express as a Commercial Research Specialist from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, they joined Carolina Partners in Mental HealthCare, PLLC as a Psychometrist, administering and reporting neuropsychological assessments. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Human Resource Generalist at ALC Schools, supporting the hiring process and developing HR policies. Raquel joined Capella University in 2020 as an Educational Facilitator & Graduate Facilitator, providing academic support and building competency in courses. Most recently, they have held roles at Duke Corporate Education, starting as a Program Manager in 2022 and advancing to a Project Director in January 2023.

Raquel B. Pugh, Ph.D. holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Psychology with a specialization in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Capella University. Raquel also obtained a Master of Science degree in Psychology with the same specialization from the same institution. Prior to that, Dr. Pugh earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Behavioral Sciences from Western International University.
