Randy Hart

Randy Hart has extensive experience in regulatory affairs and compliance within the energy sector, currently serving as the Regulatory Affairs Manager for Coal Combustion Products at Duke Energy Corporation since November 1999. In this role, Randy acts as the primary interface with state and federal regulators and leads support for the NC Coal Ash Commission. Previous positions at Duke Energy include Regulatory Compliance Manager and Licensing Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed supervising personnel, interfacing with NRC inspectors, and developing key security strategies post-9/11. Prior to joining Duke Energy, Randy held roles at Duquesne Light Company as a Senior Licensing Supervisor and at Florida Power & Light, where responsibilities included operations instruction and regulatory compliance. Randy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University, earned between 1979 and 1984.
