Lameisha Vernon

Lameisha Vernon is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing and public health. Currently serving as a Travel OR Nurse at Duke Raleigh Hospital since January 2023, Lameisha also holds a position as a Registered Nurse at UNC REX Healthcare since 2019. Prior experience includes working as a Disease Intervention Specialist II for the NC Department of Health and Human Services from December 2009 to August 2017 and as a Project Coordinator at STRENGTHENING THE BLACK FAMILY INC between August 2007 and November 2009. Lameisha is academically grounded with a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from East Carolina University (2019-2020), an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Registered Nursing from Edgecombe Community College (2017-2019), and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from East Carolina University (2002-2007).
