Genna Barge

Genna Barge is an experienced professional currently serving as Chair for Men's Basketball Defensive Shot Charts with Cats Stats since February 2022, focusing on analyzing defensive shot data and providing recommendations to coaches. In addition, Genna has been a USA Hockey Ice Hockey Referee at Robert Morris University Island Sports Center since September 2016, obtaining a level three certification while mentoring young referees. Volunteer work with 412 Food Rescue involves delivering surplus food to combat food insecurity in the Pittsburgh area. A brief internship with the Charlotte Hornets included utilizing Python for data collection, and administrative experience was gained at Avid Settlement through organizing loan documentation. Genna also worked as an Apparel Sales Associate at DICK'S Sporting Goods. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics at Davidson College, Genna completed a high school diploma at The Ellis School in 2021.
