Joe Janey

Joe Janey is the founder of Sync60 as of November 2023 and is currently a dual MBA-MPP candidate at Duke University, focusing on Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Technology Policy. As an investment analyst intern at Broadwater Capital and a former startup consultant fellow at NC IDEA, Joe has gained valuable experience in investment and startup support. Prior roles include investment banking analyst and summer analyst at Hennepin Partners, financial analyst intern at ColumbiaNational Real Estate Finance, and advisory & transaction services intern at CBRE. Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with an English minor from the University of St. Thomas and participated in the Capital Semester Program at George Mason University, concentrating on International Economics.
