Ian Griffith began their work experience in 2004 as an Associate at A.T. Kearney, specializing in supply chain optimization, strategic sourcing, and procurement transformation. Ian was promoted to Manager in 2007 and spent approximately 12 months working overseas in Malaysia, India, and Singapore. In 2008, Griffith joined Foster's Group Ltd as a Strategic Sourcing Lead, eventually becoming the General Manager of the Strategic Sourcing team. Ian managed high-value projects and was responsible for the company's external spend globally. In 2012, Griffith moved to AGL as the Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Category Management before transitioning to their current role as the Head of Procurement at DuluxGroup Limited. In their current role, they set the overall procurement strategy, manages a team of 24 procurement managers and specialists, and oversees a total spend of approximately $1 billion per year. Ian also plays a key role in integrating newly acquired business units.
Ian Griffith completed their Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Chemical Engineering from Monash University in the years 1992 to 1995. Ian then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, Strategy, and Economics at Melbourne Business School from 2002 to 2004.
