Mengru Xie

Mengru Xie is an experienced educator specializing in Chinese language instruction, currently serving as a Teacher of Chinese at Dulwich College since April 2023. Prior to this role, Mengru Xie was the Lead Teacher of Mandarin at Lister Community School from June 2019 to April 2023, demonstrating a strong command of the national curriculum across various qualifications including GCSE, IB, Pre-U, and A level. Mengru Xie also held positions as a Chinese language expert at busuu and as a Chinese Language Assistant at the British Council. Earlier experience includes teaching at Suan Dusit University in Thailand. Mengru Xie holds a PGCE in Secondary Education and Teaching and a Master of Arts in Education and Technology from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Teaching Chinese as a second language from Guangxi University. A passion for innovative teaching methodologies has characterized Mengru Xie's approach in the classroom.
