Mark Cathro

Mark Cathro is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law. Currently serving as a partner in Duncan Cotterill's Corporate Advisory Group since August 2014, Mark provides strategic advice on mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, joint ventures, and technology matters, including significant work for a NYSE-listed entity. As a board member of Canterbury Angels since February 2015, Mark has played a vital role in connecting investment opportunities with high-growth New Zealand companies. Prior positions include senior associate roles at Lane Neave, Walkers, Wragge & Co LLP, DLA Phillips Fox, and Andersen Legal, where Mark advised numerous clients across various sectors on complex legal issues. Mark holds an LL.B from Otago University.
