Waddah Aldrobi has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering and data science fields since 2017. Waddah began their career as a Software Engineer for the Department of National Defence in 2017 and then moved to IMS (Insurance & Mobility Solutions) as a Software Engineer, iOS in 2018. In 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer for Cognite, a Data Scientist for IBM, and a URA (Deep Learning & Computer Vision Research) for Kimia Lab. In 2020, they worked as a Cloud Solution Architect - Data & AI for Microsoft and a Lead Software Engineer, Backend for the University of Waterloo. Waddah is currently employed as a Cloud Solution Architect - Data & AI for Microsoft and will begin working as a Software Engineer for Dune in 2022.
Waddah Aldrobi holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Systems Design Engineering, majoring in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Waterloo. Waddah has also obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate from Microsoft in March 2022, Kubernetes Certified Application Developer (KCAD) from Udemy in August 2021, Kubernetes Hands-On from Udemy in August 2021, Terraform on Azure from Udemy in July 2021, Django with React from Udemy in April 2021, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in June 2020.
