Craig Fleming

After ten years with another company in Alabama’s asphalt paving industry (where he held positions of increasing responsibility), Craig joined Dunn Construction as Vice President and Area Manager in 1994. From 1996 to 2001, Craig served as President of Dunn Roadbuilders in Laurel, MS. He returned to Birmingham in 2001, and was named President of Dunn Construction in 2002. Craig also serves as the Vice President of Eastern Operations for Dunn Investment Company. Craig is an active advocate for the road building industry. His professional activities include: Past president of the Mississippi Asphalt Pavement Association. President and current board member of the Alabama Asphalt Pavement Association. Vice Chairman of the UAB Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering Industry Advisory Board. Past member of the Associated Builders and Contractors General/Subcontractor Advisory Board and member of the ABC board of directors. President and Board Member of the Alabama Road Builders Association. Craig is also a supporter of a number of community initiatives, including: Chairman and board member of the Birmingham CRT (Coalition for Regional Transportation). Member of the Leadership Birmingham Class of 2011. Member of the Downtown Birmingham Kiwanis Club. Craig was born October 18, 1958 in Franklin, Ky. He attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Craig and his wife Sherrie were married in May of 1982. They are the parents of Julie and Matt Cate, and grandson Parker and granddaughter Emmaline, Brooke and Brandon Pilot, Virginia, and Andrew. They are members of Mountain Brook Community Church.
