Caitlin Brisson

Caitlin Brisson has extensive work experience in product design and education. Caitlin is currently employed at Duolingo as a Staff Product Designer, where they lead the design and project management for the Literacy team, with a focus on developing literacy education for children. Prior to this, they worked at Tally as a Staff Product Designer, leading the member experience for Tally users and also serving as the Growth Lead for 9 months. Caitlin was responsible for improving the onboarding experience and streamlining the user interface. Caitlin also worked at Gusto as a Senior Product Designer, where they played a key role in opening and growing the NYC office, and led various design projects, including time off management and hiring/onboarding processes. Before joining Gusto, they worked as a Product Designer at Designation, where they mentored and managed UX/UI designers and also worked on client projects. Caitlin also has experience as a UX/UI Designer at Good Use and as a Science and STEM Teacher at Menlo School and The Hamlin School. Prior to their design and teaching roles, they worked in research and lab management positions at Brown University.

Caitlin Brisson has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Marine Biology from Brown University. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications including Discover Scuba Diving Leader, Divemaster, Wilderness First Responder, Rescue Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, and Open Water Diver.
