Elizabeth Onstwedder

Elizabeth Onstwedder is an experienced professional with a diverse background in curriculum design, learning engineering, project coordination, teaching, and research. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Curriculum Designer at Duolingo since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Curriculum Designer at Duolingo from June 2020 to March 2023. Elizabeth also worked as a Learning Engineer at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2018 to May 2020. Elizabeth gained project coordination experience at Duke University, where they served as a Project Coordinator from December 2015 to June 2017. Later, they pursued a Master of Science in Educational Technology and Applied Learning Science at the CMU Human-Computer Interaction Institute from 2017 to 2018.
