Julia L.

Julia L. has a diverse work experience. Julia started their career as a Technology Intern at Union County Vocational-Technical Schools, where they provided technical support to students and staff, managed IT tickets, and deployed software to computers. Julia then worked as a Recreation Worker at Cranford Pool and Fitness Center, where they managed the recreation area and organized arts and crafts sessions. Julia also worked as a Tutor at Wyzant, helping students with their academic needs. Moving forward, they joined IBM as a Software Developer Co-op, where they contributed to full-stack development projects using Python and Tornado Web Server. Later on, they worked as a Note Taker at Northeastern University, providing assistance in note-taking. Most recently, they worked as a Software Engineer Co-op at Akamai Technologies, where they added API endpoints, implemented Elasticsearch support, and wrote queries in Elasticsearch and SQL to enhance data collection and visualization. Currently, Julia holds the position of an Operations Engineer I at Duolingo.

Julia L. received their high school diploma from Academy for Allied Health Sciences between 2015 and 2019. Subsequently, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University, which they are expected to obtain in 2023. In addition, in August 2019, they successfully obtained an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
