Kelsey Lenard began their work experience in 2010 as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh. Kelsey then progressed to become a Compensation Specialist from November 2011 to February 2013. Following this, they worked as a Compensation Analyst from February 2013 to October 2016, and then as a Senior Compensation Analyst from October 2016 to April 2018. In May 2018, Lenard joined Duolingo as the Director of People Operations, where they focus on building a scalable team and framework that supports the organization's high-growth. Kelsey'sresponsibilities include managing benefits, compensation, employee support and relations, HRIS management, employee onboarding, and workforce planning.
Kelsey Lenard holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Furthermore, Kelsey pursued higher education at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. During their MBA studies, Kelsey focused on Human Resources Management and Marketing.
