Laura Lovely

Laura Lovely has been working at Duolingo since January 2022 as a People Operations Manager. Prior to that, they worked at GE from December 2014 to January 2022. At GE, Laura held various roles including Lead Payroll & Benefits Specialist - Reduction in Force from April 2019 to January 2022, Payroll & Benefits Specialist - Reduction in Force from April 2017 to April 2019, and Payroll & Benefits Specialist - Retirement from December 2014 to April 2017. Before joining GE, Laura worked at the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) from August 2013 to August 2014 as an Assistant Language Teacher, where they taught English and American culture to Japanese students, developed lesson plans, and hosted English club meetings.

Laura Lovely attended Villanova University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish Language and Literature.
