Martin Senécal

Martin Senécal has a diverse work experience. Martin started their career as a Video Director working for himself from October 2013 to December 2018. Martin then worked as a Business Intelligence Developer at Ciena from May 2019 to August 2019. Following that, Martin was the Director of Sponsorship at HackConcordia from October 2019 to May 2020. Martin then worked as a Software Developer at Genetec from September 2020 to December 2020. In 2021, they joined Clinia as a Software Engineer from May 2021 to August 2021. Simultaneously, they were also involved in the GCES - Gina Cody School Entrepreneurship Society, initially as the President from April 2021 to April 2022, and later as an Advisor from April 2022 to April 2023. In 2022, Martin worked as a Product Technical Program Manager at Meta from May 2022 to August 2022. Currently, they are employed at Duolingo as an Associate Technical Program Manager starting from July 2023.

Martin Senécal began their education journey in 2012 at Collège Beaubois, where they pursued a General Program with a focus on Science/Math. Martin completed their DES (Diploma of Secondary Studies) at this institution in 2017. Following this, from 2017 to 2019, they attended Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne, where they focused on Mathematics and Computer Science and completed their DEC (Diploma of College Studies).

In 2019, Martin embarked on their higher education at Concordia University, where they enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering program with a specialization in Computer Software Engineering. Martin is expected to complete this degree in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Martin Senécal obtained a certification as a Future Founder from Y Combinator in December 2020, indicating their involvement in entrepreneurial activities.
