Nikhil Bose

Nikhil Bose has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. Nikhil is currently employed at Duolingo as a Software Engineer II, having started in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Duolingo as a Software Engineer I from June 2021 to February 2023. In 2020, Nikhil served as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Nikhil also gained valuable experience as a Software Developer Intern at OSIsoft in 2019. Earlier in their career, Nikhil worked as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics at the University of Rochester in 2018 and as a Research Project Assistant in 2017. In this role, they successfully simulated the effects of a frequency conversion crystal on the OMEGA EP laser and designed a crystal to increase beamline energy without damaging optical equipment. Their research paper on these results earned him Scholar status in the Regeneron Science Talent Search.

Nikhil Bose completed their high school education at Pittsford Sutherland High School from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a High School Diploma. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2021. Additionally, in October 2020, Nikhil obtained a certification called "Terminal Live Fall 2020" from Correlation One.
